Pat Reese, our resident summer manager, on her horse, Chance. If you look carefully, you can see the
Ranch buildings in the background.
The Duplex. Two double cabins with a common wall. John G. Dabney finished this cabin in the fall and early
winter of 1937, following the death of his first wife, Ruth, that summer.
Wow! This picture was taken looking east at the Ranch from Black Mountain.
One of our resident groundhogs
North Clear Creek Falls, about 3 miles from the Ranch
Kids and horses. A great combination.
The Ranch property is surrounded by the Rio Grande National Forest. There are 10's of thousands of
acres available for outdoor activities.
More amunition for a fish story.
Trenea Carpenter, at 3 years old, John G. Dabney's great-great-great granddaughter carrying on a family
tradition.
Nearly 20 years ago, moose were introduced into our area. They have
prospered, and we are often able to spot one of these magnificent animals near the Ranch.
If you have some photos that were taken at the Ranch that you would like to see published on
the website, email them to me at ccreede@centurytel.net. Thanks, John Howard
