The Continental Ranch is located about halfway between Creede and Lake City on a gravel road, US Forest Road 513, just 2 miles from paved Colorado Highway 149 (Silver Thread Scenic Byway).

The season at the Ranch is usually from mid May through October, depending on the weather. May can be beautiful; it can also be stormy and cold. September and October are often the  most scenic times in our area, with warm, sunny days, chilly nights and plenty of color in the aspen leaves.  June, July, August can be anything in between, but you can usually expect sunny days and cool nights.  July and August are usually the "rainy season" with afternoon rain showers.

Cabins are available during the winter months for snowmobilers, snow- shoers and cross-country skiers.  Just remember, it is cold at the Ranch in the winter. 

Some cooking utensils are available in the cabins, but you might want to bring your favorite pots and pans. Most people bring disposable paper or plastic plates, etc. A fire ring for outdoor cooking and a picnic table is available at each cabin. Blankets and sheets are provided; many people prefer to bring their sleeping bags. Be sure to bring your bath towels, etc., as these are not furnished.

Cabins are rented by the week (4 - 7 days) or the 1/2 week (1 to 3 days)

Double cabins with 2 full sized beds: 1 week = $175.00  1/2 week = $105.00

Single cabins with 1 full sized bed:     1 week = $135.00  1/2 week = $85.00

Trailer spaces without hook-ups and tent sites are available at $12.00 per night, discounts for longer stays.

Payment can be made with cash, personal or business check, MasterCard or Visa.

Cancellations for full refund must be made at least 72 hours prior to 12:00 noon on the reserved arrival date.

The Ranch is great place for family reunions, weddings, etc. If you have a large group that will be wanting to reserve all or most of the cabins, please give us plenty of notice.  We will do our best to make sure that you have what you need.
